Terms & Conditions

The contract for using Tycho

These Terms explain the conditions for accessing Tycho, using paid features, relying on Tycho analysis, and interacting with PromSpace support and billing flows.

Last updated: 16 April 2026 Service: Tycho by PromSpace Contact: contact@promspace.eu

1. Acceptance of these Terms

By accessing or using Tycho, users agree to these Terms & Conditions. If a user does not agree, that user should not use Tycho.

Prometheus Space Technologies is currently presented publicly as SIREN 102795259, 47 Rue Vivienne, 75002 Paris, France. If PromSpace wants extra corporate identifiers or mandatory consumer disclosures to appear here, they can still be added before publication.

2. What Tycho is

Tycho is an Earth Observation and environmental intelligence product that combines language-model reasoning, geospatial tooling, and third-party scientific datasets to answer user questions, generate maps, and surface analysis.

Tycho may include both standard query flows and advanced modes such as DeepScan, which may consume a higher amount of usage allowance or paid credits.

3. Accounts and access

  • Some parts of Tycho may be available without a full account, while other capabilities require sign-in or a paid plan.
  • Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account and for activities that occur through that account.
  • PromSpace may suspend or restrict access where needed to protect the product, other users, or PromSpace systems.

4. Paid plans, TU packs, and billing

  • Tycho may offer paid subscriptions, usage packs, or other credit-based access models.
  • Billing is processed through Stripe.
  • Feature access, usage counters, and DeepScan costs should be presented transparently in-product before a user purchases or consumes them.
  • Prices, quotas, and product packaging may change, but changes should not retroactively remove entitlements already purchased unless clearly described in advance and allowed by law.

Users should review the applicable billing terms, plan description, and checkout information before purchase.

5. Acceptable use

Users must not misuse Tycho. This includes, for example:

  • Attempting to interfere with the service or gain unauthorized access.
  • Using Tycho for illegal activity or in violation of sanctions, export controls, or applicable law.
  • Submitting malicious code, abusive traffic, or automated misuse that harms reliability.
  • Using Tycho output in a way that falsely implies PromSpace guarantees a specific operational or legal result.

6. Output quality and scientific limitations

Tycho is designed to be useful, clear, and evidence-based, but it remains an interpretive software product. Earth Observation datasets have real limitations, including latency, coverage gaps, revisit windows, processing delays, and composite time windows.

Tycho output should be treated as informational support, not as a substitute for field validation, regulated advice, or mission-critical operational decision making.

7. Availability and service changes

PromSpace may update, improve, suspend, or discontinue parts of Tycho. We aim to keep the product reliable, but uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed.

Where possible, PromSpace should surface outages, degraded modes, or significant changes honestly through product or support surfaces.

8. Intellectual property

  • Tycho, its interface, branding, software, and product content are owned by PromSpace or its licensors, except where third-party material is clearly attributed.
  • Third-party scientific and environmental datasets remain subject to the rights, notices, and attribution requirements of their original providers.
  • Users retain rights in their own submitted content to the extent permitted by law, but grant PromSpace the rights needed to operate the service.

9. Feedback and support submissions

If a user submits feedback, support tickets, or bug reports, PromSpace may use that information to operate, troubleshoot, and improve Tycho. Users should avoid submitting confidential third-party information unless it is necessary for the support request.

10. Liability and disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tycho is provided on an “as available” basis and PromSpace disclaims warranties that are not expressly stated. PromSpace is not responsible for losses arising from reliance on Tycho output as the sole basis for operational, financial, or legal decisions.

Nothing in these Terms removes rights that users may have under mandatory consumer or data-protection law.

11. Termination

Users may stop using Tycho at any time. PromSpace may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or material breach of these Terms.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of France, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections that apply under the law of the user's country of residence. Courts or competent authorities in France may have jurisdiction, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.

13. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be sent to contact@promspace.eu.
